The Wachau, the Danube Bend, the Danube floodplains National Park or the car-free cycle paths through Vienna and Budapest are among the most beautiful experiences of this bike cruise. The MS Primadonna is the second largest cruise ship at the Danube. Experience the elegance of the MS Primadonna with spacious decks, wellness, restaurant, bar, atrium and much more at a bike tour without hotel change! The MS Primadonna is waiting for you daily at the end of your trip. You can also enjoy the day on board - on the sun deck with whirlpool or in the wellness-area with whirlpool, sauna & Kneipp water-treading basin. In the kitchen, we emphasize using regional Austrian products - all dishes are prepared fresh on board. The MS Primadonna is the only cruise ship under Austrian flag.

Friday, Individual arrival to Passau

Individual arrival in Passau by train or car | transfer from the private parking lot or Passau train station to the ship approx. 4.30 pm | welcome menu.

Saturday, Schlögen – Linz (56 km)

Handover of rental bikes | cycle through the unpopulated narrow valley near Kaiserau to the baroque market town of Aschach and to Linz | optional: concert on the Bruckner organ in Linz.

Sunday, Tulln – Vienna (31 or 49 km)

Individual visit of the Tulln State Garden Show | past the Vienna Forest to Vienna | individual city tour by bike (+ 18 km traffic-free cycle paths) or guided cycle tour for an extra charge | optional: after dinner guided bus tour (2 hours) | individual visit to a „Heurigen“ near the ship landing.

Monday, Visegrád - Budapest (59 km)

On the Danube Cycle Route/E6 from Visegrád (castle, fortified tower, etc.) to Vác | by ferry to the island of Tahitötfolu and the artists‘ town of Szentendre | continue traffic-free to the ship | in the evening by ship through the magnificently illuminated Danube metropolis.

Tuesday, Bike Tour to the Margarete’s Island (22 km)

Optional: by bus to the most beautiful sights (3 hours) | tips for a cycle tour on traffic free cycle paths through the city centre.

Wednesday, Round Trip Bratislava (36 or 44 km)

Optional: guided walk (1 hour) | cycle on traffic-free from the ship on the Danube Cycle Path via Wolfsthal to Hainburg (Rothenburg of Austria) | back or continue via Hof Castle and Devín (SK national monument; approx. 6 km side road).

Thursday, Krems - Marbach (53 km)

Cycle tour from Krems (UNESCO World Heritage Site) via Dürn stein through the Wachau past Melk (imposing abbey) to Marbach.

Friday, Disembarkation / Passau

Disembarkation till 10 am | bus transfer from the ship to the private parking lot or Passau train station and journey home.

Your luxury Liner at the Danube.
The comfortable cruise ship has a 60m long hotel atrium "Prima Vista", the panorama restaurant "Primo Gusto", the panorama bar "Primavera" and the board theatre "Primo Teatro". Air condition is available at the whole ship and individually adjustable in the cabins. The double hull architecture (catamaran), the 9m glass window at the front, as well as a glass floor at the reception - here you can see directly into the world under water - will make your stay at the MS Primadonna a First-Class-Experience. At the Sundeck you can use the Whirlpool and the sun loungers. In the spa area, a large indoor-whirlpool, a "Kneipp"-pool, a sauna and a HydroJet-massage bed are being offered.

Cabins

Main deck cabins (HD) are equipped with a big, not opening porthole and individually adjustable heating, air condition as well as shower/toilet, hair-dryer, TV/radio, safe, telephone and minibar (11.5m²). Main deck astern cabins (HDA) have 9.5m² with the same equipment and folding bunk beds. At the upper- and promenade deck, the cabins have 16.5m² and additionally a balcony with a bench and a desk.

Gastronomy

We feel liable for the Viennese cuisine and it is the pride of our ship. According to the controlled guidelines "Healthy kitchen" of the Upper Austrian parliament, everything is produced fresh and on board: Breakfast buffet, 3-course menu for lunch and 4-course menu for dinner, Afternoon coffee/tea & cake and midnight snack. Here you can really enjoy First-Class-Service!

General information

> Schedule- and programme changes due to regional circumstances (eg. flood, low water, bad weather etc.) can be possible on order of the 1^st captain. Bike trips, side-programs as well as arrival & layover times may also be affected.

> Entrainment of own bikes possible - NO discount on tour price. This on clients’ risk – for damages on the own bike during the whole tour we can’t be held liable.

> EU – citizens need a valid passport or identification card. For citizens of other countries, there are different regulations (and expenses); please inform yourself before arriving to the tour.

> Cycling-clothes are available from our shop on board.

> WLAN free of charge from Passau to (shortly before) Bratislava (with some restrictions in Slovakia & Hungary). There are two central terminals on the ship for checking your e-mails with limited data volume. For any damages due to unavailability, the shipping company cannot be held liable.

PRIVATE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Withdrawals

1.1 When submitting a withdrawal from the trip / stay the customer undertakes to assume the following cancellation costs:

1.1.1 Cancellation up to 40 days before the program starts - 15% of the total amount of the reservation.

1.1.2 Cancellation from 39 to 30 days before the program starts - 20% of the total amount of the reservation.

1.1.3 Cancellation from 29 to 14 days before the program starts - 40% of the total reservation amount.

1.1.4 Cancellation from 13 days until the beginning of the program - 70% of the total reservation amount.

1.1.5 No-show - 80% of the total amount of the reservation.

2. Changes

2.1 For changes of reservations (e.g. change of date, hotel category, itinerary, board incl. special requests as allergies, vegetarian meals, etc.) from 5 days after receipt of booking, we charge per booking a processing fee of € 35 and from 10 days before arrival € 70, processing fee (once per booking).

2.2 Changes to another trip is only possible in form of cancellation and subsequent rebooking.

2.2.1 In case of cancellation, ask MegaSport Travel about the trips available for the subsequent rebooking.
