Star tour of Arnhem – Forest . Heath . the Rhine

From a comfortable hotel on the green outskirts of Arnhem and the edge of the Veluwe, you will discover an attractive cycling region with spectacular protected ecological areas, fascinating culture and the typical Dutch
riverscape. The “Hoge Veluwe” nature park with its forests, sand drifts and the Hubertus Palace is a delight for nature and art lovers alike. A trip to the park is superbly complemented with a visit to the Kröller Müller Museum that is home to works by Vincent van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Piet Mondrian and other artists. The park itself boasts beautiful cycling paths and, for lunch, you can visit a large patio café in the middle of the park.
During this cycling holiday, you can cycle through the Sonsbeek Park to Arnhem, a lively town on the Lower Rhine where there is plenty to discover. One of the cycling paths runs along the riverscape typical of the Netherlands. The “Veluwezoom” nature park with its sprawling heather is not far away.

Arnheim

Discover how green and lush the Arnheim region can be. From Veluwezoom with its wide boulevards and plentiful beach trees to the hilly heathland of the Posbank. You can see from the pleasant village centre and the outdoor areas around Arnheim that the rich and famous have been seeking leisure and relaxation here for centuries. You can see a colourful parade of fashion students on the streets in the town of Arnheim. The trendy concept stores in the Fashion Quarter will give you a contemporary view of art and fashion. To the west of Arnhem, rivers flow from the Veluwe to the Rhine and form small waterfalls. In De Liemers you can try fresh local produce or enjoy a drink on a patio in a quaint historic brickworks. Relaxation guaranteed.
