This great route runs along the Algarve coast line, allowing you to visit many of the coastal towns and cities in the Algarve and also trace various paths of nature.
It features mostly flat terrain with an average of one / two medium ascents per day. With an average of 40 km per day, easily crossed.

Blessed with over 300 days of sunshine, the Algarve offers excellent temperatures to enjoy a cycling route at any time of year. Average temperatures vary between 15 degrees in January until the 30 degrees in August and 20 degrees in November.
Plane – You can book your airfare directly to Faro Airport or Lisbon Airport (with any connection to Faro by Bus or Train).
Characteristics of the route:
Day 1 - Arrival
Transfer with Megasport from Faro airport (or train/bus station) to the hotel in Albufeira, place where you will begin the journey.
Day 2 - From Albufeira to Faro (48 km)
With a route characterized by quiet trails, scroll down this path with a magnificent natural surroundings and typical piscatorial customs.
Day 3 - From Faro to Tavira (42 km)
Cycling in a track mostly through the Ria Formosa Natural Park, let yourself be involved by the senses of this natural wonder of Portugal.
Day 4 - From Tavira to Vila Real de Santo António (34 or 68 km)
Pedaling along the coast the route offers exceptional views of the Atlantic Ocean and contact with a culture known for its fishing for Tuna Fish.
Day 5 - Return
Private departure transfer with MegaSport from Tavira to Faro. Or stay a few more extra nights in the unique region of the Algarve.

Cycling in a track mostly through the Ria Formosa Natural Park, let yourself be involved by the senses of this natural wonder of Portugal. Reaching Tavira, prepare yourself for the New Year's Eve dinner and don’t forget the champagne to open at 00:00, while you enjoy the fireworks.
01st January - From Tavira to Vila Real de Santo António (34 or 68 km)
Begin the 1st day of the New Year pedaling along the coast. The route offers exceptional views of the Atlantic Ocean and contact with a culture known for its fishing for Tuna Fish.
02nd January - Return
Transfer with MegaSport from Tavira to Faro airport for your return home or stay a few more extra nights in the unique region of the Algarve.
